Botany News is the newsletter of our company, Thund, where we bring together botany and ecology, environmental and nature conservation. Communication with you, the readers, is especially important to us; Please send your ideas about plants or other green issues and make an impact on the next issue of Botany News. Thund offers "Botanical Tours", where participants get to explore the Icelandic vegetation for themselves and we guide you on the plants. The tours are educational and unique experiences, usually light to moderate hikes where we explore the wild or semi-wild nature of the country: mosses, marshes and heaths and explore national parks and other protected areas. We visit wetlands, flower meadows, coastal and mountain vegetation as well as natural birch and willow woodlands. You can also take time to appreciate the scenery, geology, wildlife, history, and rural culture. The tours are structured to serve participants of diverse ages and backgrounds, offering a valuable opportunity to explore and understand Iceland's natural environment.

Additionally, our range of professional services includes environmental consulting, research, educational programs, and expert translation solutions. We are assembling a skilled team of naturalists, instructors, guides, and translators to help our company grow. If you are interested in participating or supporting our work, please let us know!
